Therapeutic Approach

Marie works from a humanistic and integrative perspective, following her clients’ lead and using a variety of creative approaches including sand tray.

She believes firmly in the importance of the therapeutic relationship and meeting each client where they are.

Marie is passionate about early intervention and the benefits of play therapy and psychotherapy for preventing difficulties before they escalate.

About

Marie provides a safe and supportive space where children and young people can express
themselves and work through emotional challenges.

As a fully qualified Play Therapist and Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist, she completed
her Masters with the Children’s Therapy Centre in Limerick and is a pre-accredited member
of the Irish Association of Play Therapy and Psychotherapy (IAPTP).

With over ten years of experience as a primary school teacher both in Ireland and abroad,
Marie brings a deep understanding of child development to her therapeutic work. 

She holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Higher Diploma in Arts in Primary Education
