Niamh holds a BA(Hons) in Holistic Counselling and Psychotherapy from the International College for Personal and Professional Development (ICPPD). She is a pre-accredited member of the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP), and abides by the code of ethics laid down by IACP.
Niamh is committed to ongoing training and continually expands on her personal and professional development by attending various workshops and training seminars.
Niamh’s approach to counselling and psychotherapy is holistic and person centered. She uses an integrative and humanistic approach, along with CBT. Niamh believes that the relationship between the counsellor and the client is key to developing a trusting therapeutic space, where client and counsellor can work together to explore ways towards achieving the goals and needs of each individual client.
Niamh is influeneced by the work of Roberto Assagioli, who writes “
