Anxiety
Everyone worries or feels nervous from time to time. Anxiety is a normal human reaction to stressful situations. But for people with anxiety disorders, those fears and worries aren’t temporary. Their anxiety persists and can even get worse over time which can severely
impact a person’s ability to function normally. This can adversely affect both their physical and mental health along with their relationships. Fortunately, Psychotherapy offers effective treatments for anxiety and I am skilled in helping you get to the root of it and to teach you healthier, more effective ways to cope.

Grief & Loss
Unfortunately, grief and loss are an inevitable, inescapable part of living. At some point in
our lives, we all lose someone we love either through death or separation. After the initial
shock, we are suddenly faced with all sorts of decisions and having to adjust to a new life
without our loved one. This can bring a whole host of emotions to the surface and for some people overwhelm them. The purpose of grief counselling is to help individuals work
through the feelings, thoughts, and memories associated with their loss in a safe
environment with a trained professional.

Evelyn can help you to process and cope with the pain associated with your loss and support you through this exceedingly difficult period in your life.

Self Esteem
Low self-esteem is characterised by a lack of confidence and feeling badly about oneself.

People with low self-esteem often feel unlovable, awkward, and regularly compare
themselves to others. They feel judged so they are afraid to be their true self. Very often
these feelings arise from experiences in our childhood. Over time low self-esteem can harm our mental health. The good news is that it is entirely possible to overcome low self-esteem.

Psychotherapy can help people recognize and reduce negative self-talk and to build
confidence and resilience to become a happier and more confident person.

Client testimonial
I came to this therapy not knowing what exactly I would get out of it. I had never done anything like that
before. So, to be able to start with counselling was a start for me to spend time with myself. It helped me
to articulate what the actual problems were, say things I had never said before, and even just by speaking
them out, it made things better.
Evelyn showed me a lot of techniques on how to identify myself or how to understand what is going on in
my life so I can see things from a lot of different angles, using writing, Russian dolls, putting out things on
paper, getting a different perspective through different theoretic models that she had shown me. I can
say that it has been a completely positive experience for me, even if I felt uncomfortable sometimes or
had the feeling that not saying anything would have been easier for me, but that was just my old way, it
was so good for me to let go of so many things. I really enjoyed the breathing techniques and the holistic
approach Evelyn had.
Thank you so much
Claudia.
